Why should I do therapy?
When I started therapy, I didn’t want to do it at all and felt like it was something I was told to do to “fix” me. I had no energy, and the thought of talking about things that felt like they would never change was too much.
But when I was at my lowest, I took the initiative to seek support, and though it was not easy, it was life-changing; and that caused me to make the vow to grow and help others who were in a similar boat.
My goal is to create a space where you feel seen and heard, with the lens of knowing you do not need to be “fixed”; but supported in becoming your best self. I use the knowledge and honesty that you are the captain of your own life, and I am here only to be in your corner while you make your own decisions. You have the power and control to tell me as much or little as you want to, as it is YOUR story to tell; and mine to watch you to continue to create.
What should I expect?
30 minute to hour long, weekly individual sessions in which we create a safe space for you to talk, vent, & feel your feelings.
I do HIPPAA compliant online only sessions which allows you to do therapy from the comfort of your own space. No commute, no waiting room; just the support you need in a casual communication style.
What will I do in therapy?
In my practice, you will talk, draw, play games, listen to music, and do whatever YOU feel the need to do - because this is your time.
